The second in-person meeting of the MASS-IPV project took place in Den Bosch, Netherlands, from 14 to 16 October 2024, marking the conclusion of the first year of the project. Hosted by TULiPPS BV and BIPV Projects BV, this three-day event provided each task leader with the opportunity to present the progress of their respective tasks and outline plans for the upcoming period.
Following the presentations on the second day, participants were taken on a tour of our hosts’ facilities and the industrial zone of ‘s-Hertogenbosch, where they were introduced to some of their innovative projects. We also visited two of the MASS-IPV demonstration sites: DEMO 1, where advanced BIPV panels will be installed on two facades of a carbon composite company’s building as part of their renovation plan. DEMO 2, a 600-meter-long noise barrier in Waalwijk, where one side of the barrier will host PV modules using an improved mounting system.
This meeting showcased our collective achievements and reaffirmed our commitment to the project’s objectives. A heartfelt thank you to our partners and hosts for their exceptional contributions and warm hospitality.
